Privacy Policy — Reddit Post Humanizer
Last updated: July 12, 2026
This policy covers the Reddit Post Humanizer Chrome extension by subredditmarketing.com. The free draft-check runs entirely in your browser; only the optional AI rewrite sends any data off your device.
The free checker is fully local
When you click "Check my post", the extension analyzes your draft for AI-tells and marketer-speak on your device. This produces the Reddit-safe score and the highlighted issues. It makes no network requests and sends nothing to us.
AI "Humanize" (optional)
- To use AI rewriting you verify your email address once. We store your email and a sign-in token so you can use the feature; your email may be used to contact you about Reddit growth services. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
- When you click "Humanize with AI", only the specific draft text you choose to rewrite is sent to our processing service, which uses a third-party AI model to generate the rewrite. We do not store your drafts after the rewrite is returned.
- We do not send your browsing, other tabs, or any page content you did not submit.
What it stores
Your sign-in token and preferences are stored locally in your browser. Your email is stored on our server only to enable sign-in and, if applicable, service updates.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your data. We do not track your browsing across the web. We do not use your drafts to train models or build a profile of you.
Permissions
- Access to reddit.com — to add the "Check my post" panel to Reddit's composer and highlight issues in your draft.
- Storage — to keep your sign-in token and preferences locally.
- Our rewrite service host — to send text you choose to humanize (the AI provider's key stays server-side).
